July-October 2018
City Park
The first in a series of two similar works by Wonewoc-based artist Peter Krsko, Reedikulus Polychrome Walleye was a temporary, participatory sculpture created for the 2018 Reedikulus Arts Crawl.
The foundation of the installation was a wooden fish skeleton 22' in length and 12 ' tall. Visitors added multi-colored twine to complete the "skin" of the fish during public events in the park.
This project was supported in part by a grant from the Sauk County UW Extension, Arts & Culture Committee, Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
