Join artists Emilie Bouvier and Sheila Novak in a 75-minute workshop in which you’ll create your own 16” lawn or garden banner using a simple photographic printing process called “cyanotype”. Cyanotype prints use the power of the sun to create images. All materials will be provided including a yard flag stake and fabric. Workshop participants will have the option to exhibit their work in Harvest Park alongside the artists’ large scale banners for the weekend.
No advance work is required to participate, but those wishing to build additional personal meaning into their banner may opt to bring personal items and stories. Suggestions will be shared by the instructors after registration.
